WE OFFER LOWRIDER WIRE WHEEL REFURBISHMENT

    Spoke Tightening & Resealing

Rim Sealing: Application of a high-quality sealant to the rim's interior, essential for tubeless setups and beneficial for all wire wheels ($10-$60 in materials per wheel).

Spoke Tightening (Truing): Adjusting spokes to eliminate wobbles and even out tension, ensuring a smoother ride and longer tire life.

Labor for both services typically ranges from 0.5 to 1.5 hours per wheel, costing around $50-$150, depending on the work needed.

    Spoke Replacement

Replaces broken, bent, or corroded spokes and nipples. Can be done individually or as a full set.

We use materials like chrome-plated carbon or stainless steel, ensuring proper length, gauge, and nipple compatibility.

    • Cost per spoke: $5.00 - $20.00+
    • Total for 100 spokes: $500 - $2,000

    PLUS Labor for Assembly & Truing: $300 - $800

    Nipple Replacement

Replaces corroded, stripped, or broken spoke nipples, often paired with spoke replacement.

Available in various finishes (chrome, gold) for aesthetic matching.

    • Cost per nipple: $1.00 - $5.00+
    • Total for 100 nipples: $100 - $500

     PLUS Labor for Assembly & Truing: $300 - $800

    Hub/Dish Replacement (Re-lacing)

Hub Replacement: Replaces damaged central hubs, requiring full wheel disassembly and re-lacing.

Dish Replacement (Re-lacing): A complete rebuild of the spoked section. This allows for new spoke and nipple sets, custom spoke patterns, and different spoke counts (e.g., 72, 100, 120 spokes) for a full refresh and customization.

    • Cost per hub: $30.00 - $150.00+
    • Cost per dish: $100.00 - $500.00+

    PLUS Labor for Assembly & Truing: $300 - $800

    Re-Chroming

You might find quotes for re-spoke and truing around $250 - $400+ per wheel, which often doesn't include the cost of re-chroming the individual components.

Re-chroming a complete wire wheel (rim, spokes, hub) can range from $400 - $800+ per wheel, depending on the size and complexity.

This usually involves disassembly, stripping, re-plating, and reassembly.

Gold Plating (rim and hub, possibly spokes)

Gold plating a full wire wheel can range from $800 - $1,500+ per wheel, with some specialized jobs going even higher for thicker plating or specific alloys.

Some services list gold plating for specific parts:

Gold plating spokes: around $7 per spoke (for example, on a 100-spoke wheel, that's an extra $700 just for spokes).

Gold plating nipples: around $4 per nipple.

Gold plating the rim itself can be hundreds of dollars depending on size.
